Our Story

Owner-Managed Since 2018

We own Manualoha 601 and live full-time on Kauai. We designed it, we maintain it, and we manage every booking ourselves. When you reserve directly with us, there are no resort fees, no platform markups, and no middleman between you and the people who actually care for the place you're staying.

A Few Minutes Away, Every Time

Garden Island Hospitality LLC was formed in 2018, with Chris as the Responsible Manager. The villa was service-marked as My Kauai Vacation Rental℠ in 2020, and we've personally hosted every stay since. When something needs attention, we're a few minutes away. You'll text Chris, not a chatbot. If you call, he picks up. That's been true since the first booking and it hasn't changed.

Garden Island Hospitality LLC was formed in 2018 with me as the Responsible Manager, and the villa has been service-marked as My Kauai Vacation Rental since 2020. We've personally hosted every stay. You'll book direct with us. Text us and we'll reply, call and I'll pick up. If something needs attention while you're here, I'm on the island and I'll handle it. That's the whole promise.

Three Reasons It Isn't a Condo

A Villa, Not a Condo

Ground-floor, end-unit, nothing above it, only a ten-foot shared wall. A stand-alone home in the Poipu Kai greenbelt. Step outside and the only sound is the walking path.

300 Steps to the Sand

Poipu Beach, Brennecke's, and Shipwreck Beach are a short walk from the door. Snorkeling, sunset at Lawai Beach, dinner in Old Koloa Town, the Maha'ulepu trail, all on foot.

What You See Is What You Pay

Legally permitted, owner-managed since 2018. No resort fees, no administrative fees, no platform commissions. Discounts post for stays of seven nights or more. Talk to Chris.
